In today's business world, filled with legal uncertainty, the relationship between the employer and employee can often be the difference between a successful business and failure. Failure to intelligently navigate these treacherous waters can lead to disputes and costly litigation. Most employment lawsuits have there start well before the employee is terminated. For employers, the law firm of Daniel A. Hannan, LLC, tries to prevent such law suits from being filed by taking preventative steps. For the employee, whose rights have been violated, necessary steps must be taken to recover the damages lost by the unlawful action. I have had the honor and privilege of working as an attorney for three federal judges. I have worked at one of the most prestigious labor and employment law firms in the country, and I have represented thousands of persons who have been discriminated against. I have a unique perspective that very few lawyers will ever have. After thirty years in the field of labor and employment law I offer to my clients the skills and expertise of a seasoned lawyer. As a sole proprietor I get to know my clients on a first name basis and to share their hardships with compassion and empathy, while still vigorously defending their rights.

My clients trust in knowing they can reach me in the evenings and weekends if need be. I recommend hiring an experienced lawyer before you step into the complicated and constantly changing world of employment law. Know your rights before you take action. Failure to do so may injure your case and lessen your rights. In the early days of my practicing law, I sharpened my pencils, got out my yellow pads and went to the law library to read books. Today, I power up my laptop and have the universe of legal knowledge at the tip of my fingertips. Pencil to paper, or modem to modem, I have the experience and skill to litigate your case.
